Republican U.S. Representative Adrian Smith allows his extremist ideological beliefs to get in the way of the basic needs of his constituents back in Nebraska. He has failed to support legislation for energy efficiency in schools, neglected parental leave legislation, and opposed meaningful health care reform. Congressman Smith has voted to deny fair protection for workers from workplace discrimination, and voted no on legislation to help people struggling to keep their homes during the current economic recession.
In the 2010 congressional election, the only rational choice for residents of Nebraska’s 3rd congressional district is to vote Anybody But Adrian Smith.
