Last night, on The Colbert Report, Comedy Central faux news personality Stephen Colbert announced that he intends to compete in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary. He declared the formation of his exploratory committee to compete for the “President of the United States of South Carolina.”
So, why would you vote for Stephen Colbert? Well, for one thing, Colbert has a better routine.
Colbert has a 30 minute production every weeknight, with new material every time. The other Republican presidential candidates have only one or two stump speeches that they repeat over and over again, no matter where they go.
For the sake of mere entertainment, Republicans should vote for Stephen Colbert for President – and show their support with a Stephen Colbert for President 2012 bumper sticker.
