From her academic appointment at Harvard, Elizabeth Warren has gone off-campus to lead congressional oversight of the Wall Street bailout. Warren is the one person most responsible for the existence of a new Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection. And now Elizabeth Warren has announced that she will run against incumbent Republican Senator Scott Brown in Massachusetts to bring a more liberal and reformist voice to Capitol Hill in Washington DC.

If you’re looking for bumper stickers to show your support for Elizabeth Warren for Senate, look no further. Here they are:

Senator John Thune for President?!? John Thune is an ultramaroon, says this bumper sticker.

The Washington D.C. scuttlebutt is that South Dakota’s Republican U.S. Senator John Thune wants to run for President in 2012.

Realistically, South Dakota probably isn’t the strongest political base for a presidential campaign, but then, when has John Thune been realistic? Senator Thune has supported all kinds of wacky political projects over the years, such as the rushed invasion of Iraq, a plan to entrust Social Security to Wall Street hedge fund managers, and now an effort to take away health care coverage from huge numbers of Americans.

To say that he’s not suited for the White House is to describe the matter gently. John Thune is an ultramaroon.

Pat Toomey is attacking Social Security and inventing economic data that doesn't exist. That's why Pennsylvania is now against re-electing Pat Toomey.

Already, Pennsylvanians are showing regret for their election of Pat Toomey to become their new junior U.S. Senator. Irregular Times notes that Toomey has manufactured claims of data supporting his small government agenda, when in fact no such economic data exists. That’s My Congress has warned that Toomey is already beginning his attacks against Social Security, even though he hasn’t been sworn in on Capitol Hill yet.

This kind of deceptive extremism isn’t what Pennsyvlania signed up for. This bumper sticker is now appearing on roads across the state, spreading the word that Pennsylvania is against Pat Toomey.

How many voters in Kentucky will have the bravery to take a stand against Rand Paul and his ideological extremism?

These two bumper stickers focus on Rand Paul’s extremism – an uncompassionate libertarianism that elevates big business while leaving American individuals in the lurch. Rand Paul’s U.S. Senate campaign in Kentucky officially left the zone of principled libertarian ideology when Rand declared that a Muslim community center in New York City ought to be forced to move because a minority of its neighbors don’t like Islam.

Rand Paul is too extreme for the U.S. Senate. But, wouldn’t you know it, Rand Paul is ahead in the polls. Does extremism help a political candidate in Kentucky?

This next bumper sticker makes use of simple rhyming to get the same message attended to by Kentucky voters: I Stand Against Rand and say no to his extremism.

How many Kentuckians will take this stand?

Christine O’Donnell has emerged as the most radical congressional candidate with a good chance of actually gaining a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2010.

O’Donnell says that some criminal suspects ought to have their constitutional rights taken away, just for being suspected of a crime. She claims that there is more evidence for Creationism than there is for evolution through natural selection. She claims to have been directed by the “audible voice of God”, and asserts that in judging people, it’s important to remember that “You’re either very good or evil.” She has said that the censorship instituted by governments in the Middle East is “refreshing”. She has said that Iran is “the Devil”, and cannot be negotiated with for that reason.

Christine O’Donnell believes that there is a scientific conspiracy to create mice with “fully functioning human brains”.

With all this, Christine O’Donnell won the Republican primary. Without some strong resistance, she could bring her radical ideas to the United States Senate.

Delaware, it’s time to speak out. Christine O’Donnell is too extreme for the U.S. Senate.

John Raese is supporting the ambitions of elite investors and top executives at coal companies at the expense of coal miners' safety.

It was just yesterday that John Raese got the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate to replace Robert Byrd, but already there’s a political bumper sticker out declaring that John Raese is wrong for West Virginia. Why? What makes Raese the wrong choice?

How about this tidbit for starters: John Raese is supporting the ambitions of elite investors and top executives at coal companies at the expense of coal miners’ safety. Raese seems to have forgotten all about the deadly explosion at Massey’s Upper Big Branch coal mine this year. Instead of calling for increased safety regulations, Raese says he wants to “unshackle” management at companies like Massey.

We’ve seen what happens when coal executives are allowed to operate mines under lax regulation. Raese’s proposal to remove protections is a kick in the face of coal miners, when they’re already down.

Congressman Charlie Melancon has been running a slick little game for a while, trying to get the best of both worlds. He’s registered as a Democrat, but acted like a Republican. He figures he can take Democratic votes for granted, and take a big chunk of Republican votes too.

It’s the Blue Dog Democrat strategy to a T – and it’s enabled Melancon to rise to the top of the right wing Blue Dog Coalition in the House of Representatives. The Blue Dog Democrats are like Melancon – voting like Republicans in Congress, but registered as Democrats for electoral advantage. Melancon has become the co-chair of the Blue Dogs, leading the charge as the Blue Dogs rip apart progressive Democratic legislation.

Charles Melancon thinks that kind of political two-timing has earned him a promotion, so this year, Melancon is campaigning to become Louisiana’s newest United States Senator. The bumper sticker you see here speaks to Melancon’s bid, reading, Melancon is too much like a Republican to get this Democrat’s vote.

In the current session of Congress, Senator Evan Bayh has earned a conservative rating that’s higher than his progressive rating. It’s not a one-time event in Bayh’s political career. Although Bayh is a Democrat, he has played the game of aligning himself with the Republicans while caucusing with the Democrats, working both sides of the aisle, selling out the Democratic agenda whenever it brings him personal advantage.

Bayh’s rather right wing attitude has led to some serious resentment among Indiana Democrats. That’s why many Democrats are withholding support for Bayh during his re-election campaign for 2010, and joining the insurgent campaign of Democratic challenger Tamyra d’Ippolito instead.

Where Senator Bayh works against progressive principles, d’Ippolito stands firm. On health care reform, issues of war and peace, the environment and the economy, d’Ippolito is unafraid to talk straight with Democratic voters, and represent their values. If you’re tired of seeing the Democratic Party sell you out over and over again, join the campaign of Tamyra d’Ippolito for US Senate, and show your support with this bumper sticker.

Remember that promise they made us way back in 2001? Congress said it would pass the Patriot Act, with its many unconstitutional attacks against our civil liberties, but they said it would be okay, because the law would include a “sunset”. It would expire after four years, just to be used during the time of national emergency.

Well, the national emergency has come and gone, but the Patriot Act remains. It was renewed, in spite of previous promises, in 2005, and now, in 2009, it’s the Senate Democrats who are leading the charge to renew the Patriot Act. They’re trying to pass S. 1692, a bill to put off the sunset yet again.

Like the original Patriot Act, S. 1692 fails to protect Americans’ constitutional rights. Good senators like Russ Feingold and Dick Durbin supported an amendment that would have at least guaranteed that the Patriot Act’s worst powers would only be used in cases of suspected terrorism or foreign spying, but their amendment was dismissed. Worse yet, it was other Democrats who made up the deciding votes to kill the reform. The following Democrats voted no to reforming the Patriot Act:

Senator Patrick Leahy
Senator Dianne Feinstein
Senator Al Franken
Senator Charles Schumer
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
Senator Amy Klobuchar
Senator Ted Kaufman
Herb Kohl

It’s time to talk back to these Democratic leaders. They were elected to take a stand against the abuses of the Bush era, not to extend them! This bumper sticker gives a direct message about what’s at stake: Patriots Against the Patriot Act

This video contains more explanation of the problems with the new Patriot Act extension:
